Mr. Ye and Ms. Xue first met in 2011 and have been married five years now.  They have twin girls together, and neither knew just how close they came to meeting each other 11 years before falling in love.

As teenagers, the pair had visited May Fourth Square in the port city of Qingado in China, coincidentally at the exact same time.  Ms. Xue, who was there with her mother, posed for a photograph in front of the state located in the square on July 28, 2000.  Just to the right of Ms. Xue, Mr. Ye, who was visiting with a tour group, can be seen posing for his own photograph in front of the statue.  Mr. Ye immediately recognized himself while looking through photos of his wife at her mother's house.

The couple plans on visiting the Square once again soon, as it now holds a "special meaning" for their family.  Mr. Ye told Sina News, "It seems that Qingdao is certainly one of the most special places (for us).  When the children are older, we will go to Qingdao again the family will take a photo."
