Nutella Wants to Send One Lucky Chocolate Lover to Italy

February 5, 2020

We know you love Nutella. What about Italy?

If you’re nutty for both, today could be your lucky day.

Nutella announced this week that on World Nutella Day (Wednesday, Feb. 5), fans have a chance to win a five-day, four-night trip for two to Milan, Italy, where the rich, delicious spread was created.

But they’re not thinking too outside the jar. The company is also giving away up to 20,000 coupons for a free 13 oz. container of Nutella for fans who participate in a giveaway on social media.

To help spread the love, Nutella teamed up with celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis and YouTube star Alexys Gabrielle Johns.

“I believe food is the cornerstone of community and for me, Nutella has always helped create special moments with my family,” de Laurentiis said in a statement. “I hope fans are inspired to open up a jar of Nutella and help spread the love on February 5.”

To enter to win a jar, fans must submit a Nutella-themed post with the hashtag #WNDGiveaway on Twitter, Instagram or the official Nutella Facebook page. The post must also include hashtag for your state (ex. #NY, #MD, etc.).

The 20,000 coupons will be unlocked and winners notified once there are 50 posts in each of the 50 states.

To win a free trip to Italy, visit the Nutella Day website to complete the entry form. Winners will be announced around Feb. 14, and the trip will include a tour of a Nutella factory so the winner and their companion can see where all the magic happens.

The entry period for both giveaways is between 12 a.m. EST on Feb. 5 and 6 a.m. EST on Feb. 6.

To see official rules for both, visit the official World Nutella Day website.
