It doesn’t look like last week’s loss had any ill effect towards our Boys. The Cowboys rolled to another victory last night, this time against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and it was accompanied by one of the greatest touchdown celebrations of the year.
As Ezekiel Elliot lumbered into the end zone for a score, he immediately ran to a huge Salvation Army kettle situated behind the end zone. He ran up to it, hopped in, and was hit with an immediate unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for using a “prop” to celebrate.
This sort of penalty can carry a fine up to $12,154, an amount that Zeke is happy and willing to pay. After the game, he said, “Actually, I’m going to match whatever they fine me with a donation to the Salvation Army. My dream is that the NFL would fine the daylights out me. And I’m going to take them to the Supreme Court and we’re going to get the Salvation Army a lot of notice here.”
