Hawaii Five-O Actor Keo Woolford Has Died at 49

Sad news from Oahu: Keo Woolford, who had a recurring role as Detective James Chang on the CBS remake of Hawaii Five-0, has died in his home state after suffering a severe stroke. He was 49.

A native of Honolulu, Woolford also wrote and produced the 2013 independent film The Haumana, based on his one-man show, I-LAND. The film won several independent film awards. He was in the process of finishing a sequel.

He also had small roles in the films Godzilla and Act of Valor and starred in more than 300 performances as the King of Siam in a stage production of The King & I which made its way to the London Palladium.
