Lou Pearlman,  the man who once the producer and manager and famous for putting together the groups Backstreet Boys and  NSYNC who was serving a 25-year sentence in prison, has died.  His once fame and fortune from building this two successful boy-band groups,  he later was dropped as their manager later convicted of masterminding a half-billion-dollar Ponzi scheme in 2009.

Attempts to reach the Federal Correctional Institute in Texarkana, Texas, where Pearlman was serving his sentence.    He was 62-years-old.
