4 Fun Festivals; Arts, Music, Food Fest and Tattoos – All Here This Weekend

Main Street Fest

Grapevine festival that’s subtitled “A Craft Brew Experience.”  Previously called Main Street Days, live music, a midway and carnival area, vendors,and yes, beer and more beer for sampling.  FRI & SAT May 20-21 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.,  SUN May 22 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 431 S. Main St., Grapevine. $7 Texas, 431 S. Main St., Grapevine. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for seniors and kids between the ages of 6-12. A festival pass is $15. 

Wildflower Arts & Music Festival

Celebration of Music, and Great Music Lineup, SIX stages of continuous music ,  Live Performances by Peter Frampton,  Dennis DeYoung Styx, Survivor, Asia, Hoobastank, Toadies,  Alien Ant Farm, John Waite, The Guess Who, Soul Asylum, Finger Eleven,  Jimmie Vaughan and Black Joe Lewis.  Plenty to do including Kidz Korner, a petting zoo, acrobats and vendors.  Might want to bring a towel, Kids love to get in the fountain.

FRI May 20 from 6 p.m. to midnight, SAT May 21 from 11 a.m. to midnight, SUN  May 22 from 12:30 to 8 p.m. at Galatyn Park, 2351 Performance Drive, Richardson. $25 for adults, $5 for kids 5-12 and free for kids 4 and younger. Three-day passes are $40. 

Toyota Texas Fest

Big Party at Toyota Stadium in Frisco,  Country Music Concert (Big & Rich with Cowboy Troy, Lee Brice, Chase Bryant), the Lone Star Food Fest, an outdoor consumer expo, a kids zone. Come Hungry this is a huge food fest and concerts are at Toyota Stadium; the championship fishing will take place on Lake Ray Roberts near Denton.

Gates open May 20 at 2 p.m., May 21-22 at noon, with most events at Toyota Stadium, 6000 Main St., Frisco.  $10 in advance for adults and $20 at the gate. Kids 15 and younger are free with a ticketed adult. The Lone Star Food Fest, which includes festival admission plus food and drink samples and premium seating at concerts, requires a separate ticket for everyone except kids 3 and younger; $20 in advance, $50 at gate.

Elm Street Music and Tattoo Festival

Deep Ellum fest features a two-day tattoo convention with more than 50 tattoo artists and two nights of concerts at the Bomb Factory. 30 Music Acts hits the stage.  Elm Street Tattoo during a 24-hour marathon beginning Friday night at midnight.

FRI AND SAT May 20-21 from noon to midnight at the Bomb Factory, 2713 Canton St., Dallas. $33 per day; two day passes are $53 in advance, $63 at the door.
