Guns N’ Roses Are Slowly Announcing Openers for North American Tour

Alice in Chains and Lenny Kravitz will open some shows for the Guns N’ Roses “Not in This Lifetime” tour.  Alice in Chains aren’t really a surprise, given that they opened for GN’R in Vegas.  They’re also set for June 23rd in Detroit through July 3rd in Chicago.  Lenny Kravitz will then take over for shows in Massachusetts and New Jersey at the end of July.

Openers have yet to be announced for the August 3rd GN’R date at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.  However, Alice in Chains and Lenny Kravitz could both be options.  According to both bands’ websites, neither have dates scheduled for that day.

Lenny Kravitz has a long history with Guns N’ Roses.  He and Slash attended high school together and Slash was a co-writer for “Always on the Run.”  He also played on “Always on the Run” and “Fields of Joy” on Kravitz’s Mama Said album.
