It’s long been known “No cellphones during a movie”; however, AMC CEO says that might just be a thing of the past.
“When you tell a 22-year-old to turn off the phone, don’t ruin the movie, they hear please cut off your left arm above the elbow,” CEO Adam Aron said. “You can’t tell a 22-year-old to turn off their cellphone. That’s now how they live their life.”
Don’t let that stop you from going to a theater, because Aron agrees a vast majority of viewers want no texting. He plans to “figure out a way to do it that doesn’t disturb today’s audiences.” Some ideas include making only certain auditoriums ‘text friendly’ or perhaps certain parts of a movie (so you don’t miss anything important)
What do you think, should SOME texting be allowed in theaters?
