ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) – Just last week, before the Ohio State Buckeyes toppled the Oregon Ducksand won the first-ever College Football Playoff national championship at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, there was a promise from Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.
Those were big words, considering that the stadium has already hosted the Super Bowl, the NBA All-Star Game, NCAA Final Four basketball, and some of the biggest names in music — including George Strait and Taylor Swift. Oh, and it is also the home field for America’s Team, of course.
The Academy of Country Music Awards will also be held at AT&T Stadium in April.
But it was announced early Tuesday morning that WrestleMania will be coming to AT&T Stadium on April 3, 2016. The WWE confirmed the news online ahead of a media event at the stadium.
