It seems Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have once again ruffled PETA‘s feathers.
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have reportedly drawn the ire of PETA for designing a fur backpack.
The backpack, which is from the twins’ luxury line The Row, retails for $16,900 and is already being touted as the must-have accessory for the fall season.
However, PETA disagrees.
In a statement to E!, the organization writes, “If it looks like a troll and acts like a troll, it’s probably a Trollsen Twin – or someone wearing one of their new $16,000 totes, which are made from the fur and skin of innocent animals. What the Olsens lack in creativity, they try to make up for in shock value. Sadly, it’s the foxes, calves and alligators who pay the dearest price.”
This isn’t the first time PETA has had a problem with the Olsens. Their beef with the sisters dates back to 2007, and there is even a website where users can dress “Hairy-Kate and Trashley Trollsen” in dead animals and watch a video called Full House of Horrors.
Where to next?
