A woman high on weed was recently arrested after she “accidentally” drove off with her baby on the car roof.
It looks as if Catalina Clouser won’t be winning a “Mother of the Year” award any time soon.
Over the weekend, the 19-year-old Phoenix woman was charged with child abuse and aggravated assault after her infant son fell off the roof of her car.
Clouser had been smoking marijuana at a friend’s house Friday evening when she left at around midnight with her five-week-old son sleeping in his child safety seat. She then reportedly placed the seat on top of her car and drove off, not realizing what she had done.
The car seat fell off in the middle of an intersection with the baby still strapped in. He was not hurt, but was taken to a local hospital as a precaution and is now in the custody of Child Protective Services.
According to police, Clouser did not realize her child was missing until she got home.
Where to next?
