AC/DC front-man, Brian Johnson, has said the band is having to wait to record a follow-up to their 2008 album, Black Ice.

One member of the group has fallen ill, and they are waiting for his recovery before heading to the studio.

NME is reporting the band can’t wait to start recording their 16th studio album, but at the present they can’t because an unnamed member of the band is sick.

Johnson has said, “Hopefully this year we can get back together again. One of the boys is a little sick. I can’t say anything, but he’s getting better.”

He has also denied that the illness is life threatening, and they expect for a full recovery, ” He’s doing wonderful. A full recovery is fully expected.”

The singer was supposed to tour this month, but had to cancel due to his own health issues. He needed surgery on his wrist.

Hopefully he and the unnamed member of the band can make a full and speedy recovery.]
