Sports Reporter Wins Lottery During On-Air News Broadcast

And that’s why you never trust a Canadian lottery.

Local news correspondents at Global BC hosted a one-in-a-million lotto drawing in which one lucky man or woman was to win a two-million dollar house. Families all over the country held their breath in anticipation as a little white piece of paper with the winner’s name was drawn. And that man was…

Barry Deleythe station’s sports broadcaster.

According to Anorak News

“BARRY Deley is the winner of the BC Children’s Hospital Dream Lottery. He gets a country estate worth over $2.5 million mansion or $2 million cash. You may know Barry Deley from his job as sports presenter on Global BC in Canada. That’s the same Global BC which drew the lucky winner for a big box of tickets – all with the ticket buyers’ names and address written on them.”

Way to go, Deley! You cheated the system and you never have to work another day in your life! At least your co-workers aren’t the jealous type! Oh wait…
