The Pet Shop Boys are currently working on new material for their 11th studio album, which they hope to start recording later this fall and release sometime next year.
According to slicingupeyeballs.com, singer Neil Tennant wrote on the band’s website, “We’ve been in the studio for the last few weeks continuing to write songs for our next album. So far this year we’ve written 16 new songs. I think we’ll start recording the album in November for release next year.”
This will be the first Pet Shop Boys studio album since 2009′s Yes.
Since that time, the duo (Tennant and Chris Lowe) released a best-of album titled Ultimate and scored a ballet called The Most Incredible Thing.
With a new album, comes a tour — so keep yourself tuned to jackontheweb.com for any Pet Shop Boys tour information.
These videos will just have to to due for now. Enjoy…
