Today is a celebration! So lets celebrate the only way we know how, with Gold, Guns and Girls! And it just so happens Metric has a song with that name!

Metric is an indie rock/new wave band from the neighbors up north. The band members include Emily Haines (vocals, synthesizers), James Shaw (guitars), Josh Winstead (bass) and Joules Scott-Key (drums).

They have put out four studio albums with their latest, ‘Fantasies’, being their most successful. It was originally released in ’09 and in the U.S. it debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Heatseekers.

Today’s tune is the fourth single from the album and it’s lyrics were inspired by the 1983 movie Scarface.
