superions Jacks Song Of The Day: The Superions

Christmas is 16 days away and one things is inevitable, you will get a ‘Fruitcake’ from somebody that hates you!

And The Superions which feature The B52s front man, Fred Schneider, have a song about this amazing heart attack in a tin can treat!

The Superions are Schneider’s latest side project and his first actual band since founding The B-52’s in Athens, GA. It consists of Schneider on the keyboard, Noah Brodie on the electric drum, and programmer Dan Marshall!

They formed in 2006 at Orlando, Florida! They got their name from an obscure B-movie that Schneider recalled seeing in his youth!

The tune is off their first full-length album entitled Destination…Chritmas! This is a very unusual Christmas album and some say it is for those who hate Christmas! Some other tracks on the album include: ‘Crummy Christmas Tree’; ‘Santa’s Disco’ and ‘Christmas Tears’.
